With Valakia’s Video Switcher you can present your products and services in a modern way through video. With the Video Switcher you can modernize the first view of your website and enhance your site.
Multiple Video Switchers can be created with different settings. You can create separate versions for different language versions of the site, and you can personalize different Video Switchers for different pages by saving different versions of the Video Switcher settings through the WordPress Admin panel.
In our opinion, the Video Switcher has all the most important features for creating a perfect first impression, such as headings, description text, a read more button, and of course videos – and to improve readability you can choose two gradient colors as well as their opacity.
The Video Switcher was developed with touchscreens in mind, so that it could be used to display content simply on info screens as well.
Installation and Setup
The Video Switcher comes with Valakia’s default settings, and after installing and activating the plugin, the Video Switcher is immediately ready to use. Testing compatibility with your site is very quick – you can try it out by adding the shortcode to your page. If the Video Switcher’s cropping etc. does not work automatically, it can be embedded into the theme.

Multilingual support is implemented so that you can save personalized settings to the database, and for example with different language versions, managing different content happens directly from the Video Switcher settings – these are then placed on their own pages with their own shortcodes.

Graphical User Interface
The Video Switcher has a graphical user interface that allows content to be managed and rearranged by dragging – for example, if you want to change the order, you can move items by dragging and dropping with the mouse. Save the settings after rearranging.
Additional settings for groups open by clicking on the groups.
Changes
Video files can be added using the select video button, which opens the WordPress media library where they can be uploaded and selected. The videos on Valakia’s website are 720p, 30fps and the videos take up only 11mb in total. Although there are newer file formats, not all browsers or devices may support them yet… we recommend using .mp4 files.
Once you have edited the settings you need, after saving, the Video Switcher preview will load automatically and display the edited, new version of your Video Switcher directly in the admin panel.
