History

Valakia Interactive Oy is a digital agency founded in October 2015, specialising in WordPress websites. Valakia continues the operations of Hiottu Oy and Mediatoimisto Juuri Oy in Seinäjoki, having acquired Hiottu’s advertising agency business and Mediatoimisto Juuri.

At the time, Valakia was a digital agency specialising in WordPress websites, augmented reality and virtual reality applications, and gamification. The company delivered various software solutions and content tailored to the needs of other businesses, with a strong focus on VR and AR.

2023

In 2023, Valakia acquired the business of Web Tech Finland and consolidated its operations with LEDiMedia Oy by selling the entire share capital to LEDiMedia. Valakia has been operating in Seinäjoki for nearly 10 years.

2024, 2025

In 2024, LEDiMedia took over responsibility for Valakia’s operations. Valakia offers its clients WordPress websites, services, and maintenance. Valakia specialises in WordPress websites as well as visual web development, 3D graphics, and animation. AR, VR, and app development have since taken a back seat.

Today we focus on WordPress websites — their design and technical implementation, functionality, optimisation, fine-tuning, and security.
